Sonoma County · Small Business Bookkeeping
Books kept by someone who's been on your side of them.
I've run a web design studio, a landscape business, and a full horse boarding and training operation. I know what it's like to juggle payroll, manage employees, and wrangle multiple income streams — and still try to keep your books clean at the end of a long day. That experience is what I bring to your business.
Let's TalkWhat I Offer
Good books don't happen by accident — they take consistent attention, the right systems, and someone who knows what they're looking at.
Every dollar in and out, sorted and labeled into a clean chart of accounts. No more mystery expenses at tax time.
Your records matched against your statements every period. Catch errors early, prevent surprises, and know your numbers are right.
Vendor bills tracked, payments scheduled, and 1099 compliance maintained. You pay what you owe, when you should — nothing more, nothing less.
Invoices sent, balances tracked, and late payments followed up on. I help make sure the money you've earned actually makes it into your account.
Periodic P&L statements and balance sheets that give you a clear picture of where your business stands — not just at tax time, but all year long.
Stock levels monitored and recorded so your books reflect your actual assets.
When your accountant has questions or tax season rolls around, I'm the bridge. Clean handoffs, no scrambling.
Who I Am
I didn't start out as a bookkeeper — I started out as a business owner.
Over the years I've built and run three businesses of my own: a freelance web design studio, a landscape design business, and a full horse boarding and training operation. I've worn every hat there is — managing employees, renting commercial space, juggling multiple income streams, and yes, trying to keep the books straight while doing all of it. I know firsthand what it costs when your finances aren't organized, and how much lighter everything feels when they are.
That experience is what led me to bookkeeping professionally. I wanted to offer other small business owners something I wished I'd had — someone who understands the reality of running a business, not just the numbers on a page.
I'm based in Sonoma County, and I specialize in working with the kinds of businesses I know and love. If you're a regenerative farmer, a landscape professional, or someone in the equine world — a boarding barn, a trainer, a vet, a bodyworker, a saddle fitter, a farrier — you've probably noticed that most bookkeepers don't really get your business. The seasonal income, the mixed revenue streams, the industry-specific expenses. I do. Because I've lived it.
I bring a practical, owner-first approach to every client relationship. When you work with me, you're not getting a faceless service. You're getting someone who has been exactly where you are — and knows how to help you get somewhere better.
